ACTING WITH SCREENSTAGE
ACTING COURSES, CLASSES, TUITION and COACHING
Within Studio Eye SCREENSTAGE - our performance Arts Courses/Classes welcome talented and committed
individuals to join the Courses, and who possess an active intelligence, a strong imagination, and a physical and vocal instrument capable of
development and transformation, and prepares them for work in these
areas.
The programme of
study combines in-depth classroom training with the possible option of post-successful-audition
production exposure.
All individuals should be
prepared to work on a wide range of material.
Participants
are requested to ensure that they attend all classes in their chosen
course,
as missing one element may prove ultimately to adversely affect
their learning potential.
In addition to
courses offered, student actors will engage in discussion on the
collaborative process,

Production Opportunities
The
first production opportunity comes at the end of the Course
with the presentation of collaboratively created projects.
Actors who choose to, will then work with a director, and a playwright to help
create a theatre piece based on source material assigned by our Artistic Director.
A formal audition process is in place for all productions, based on learning, ability,
with the presentation of collaboratively created projects.

whatsoever of either
favouritism or sentiment in the process of casting.
All casting is assigned by the Artistic Director, Course Tutor and a selected third party and is based on the developmental achievements of each course participant and ultimately their audition, and on the needs of the project as articulated by its Director.
Not only is each class of actors a working ensemble as it trains, but also each actor will work with directors, playwrights, designers, managers, stage managers, and technicians towards developing collaborative relationships -
