What exactly is MeIn3?

Me in 3 is a three-minute MP4 video file produced in high-quality high-definition digital film to showcase an individual in terms of his/her employability prospects, through three separate one-minute segments. It may also be utilised to gain exposure or seek funding etc for particular projects.

1) The Pitch: here the applicant has sixty seconds to summarise their abilities, qualifications, practical experience, transferable skills and suitability for the required position.

2) The Sixty-Second Interview: the applicant will undergo the time-sensitive experience of answering a rapid series of straightforward questions all of which he/she must answer without hesitation, deviation or repetition. This will offer the viewer an essential insight into how the subject copes when under pressure, whilst attempting to remain calm and lucid.

3) The Real Me: An opportunity for the applicant to show montage examples through the use of their own choice of photographs or images representative of their home/family life, recreational pursuits and interests, with a voice-over outlining the reasons behind these choices.

• 1: The Pitch – The participant has sixty seconds to ‘sell’ their abilities, capabilities, aptitude, suitability, communication skills, brief background/experience/qualifications all of which should be appropriate to the criteria of the position they are seeking

• The Sixty-Second Interview – The participant will be asked rapid-fire questions which he/she should attempt to answer with brevity, clarity and good diction. whilst avoiding repetition, hesitation or deviation. This should present them as being capable of handing high-pressure stress-related professional and personal scenarios with good grace, patience and fortitude.

• The Real Me – This is a flexible one-minute sequence where the participant may visually outline their recreational interests away from the workplace, perhaps showing a montage of stills from family gatherings, special occasions, hobbies etc. It will give further insight into the character of the participant and show potential employers their viability as a stable and caring individual of integrity and fulfilment.
