THE FAULT LINE
Lucy Bennett is in her early 20s and is in serious distress, dishevelled, make-up running due to tears and facial bruising and she shows signs of blood-staining. In a police station alongside two female CID officers, a uniformed WPC and her solicitior, she recounts her life episodically, leading up the moments before, when a shocking, cataclysmic incident took place.

SPARKY HARRIS ON THE LAM
Andrew Martin as Sparky Harris
Filmed and Edited by Noel Franson
Devised, Written and Directed by Thom McKeown
Sparky Harris, is a fugitive from justice (a prison escapee – i.e. ‘on the lam’). This is reflected in his demeanour and physical behaviour. He also suffers from a deficit of self-awareness and struggles to separate reality from utter fiction with a very thin line between that and plausibility. He enters a theatre and adopts the role of an impromptu actor.
RANT
Written and Performed by Thom McKeown
Filmed and Directed by Noel Franson
RANT is a statement from a senior UK Police Officer intended to quell any notion that his law enforcement colleagues are in any way guilty of racial discrimination. How it comes across is open to perception!
MISTER FEARNS
Mister 'Style' Fearns is an old man now, bemused, perplexed and disillusioned by the pace and uncertainty of modern life in a world where cynicism, violence and reliance on technology have replaced old-fashioned virtues and values of patience, courtesy and good manners. Here in this short film he nostalgically reflects on the past and ponders a world he now barely recognises.

A group of homeless men takes turns in offloading their respective stories as to how they became roofless and without a home. This contemporary drama was filmed during a stage performance in Glasgow's west end.
The characters are:
Percy - from Glasgow but has been sleeping rough in London, now back in his home town having hitched up with Tramar.
Percy - from Glasgow but has been sleeping rough in London, now back in his home town having hitched up with Tramar.
McGilligan - Like Percy, he has also returned to Glasgow, having become bitter and disillusioned with people’s attitudes to homelessness.
Richard - From a relatively privileged background, but his psoriasis and violent temper have diminished his prospects along with the demise of his family and resources.
Tramar - A younger guy from London, has hitched up to Glasgow (with Percy) to check it out here. Has anger issues, full of resentment but appreciates affection. Wants to become independent, get a flat, make a life.
Roley-Stevens - From Belfast, hit the downward spiral when his marriage broke up. Political and on the up, wants to re-connect and rewire himself to get out of the rut but also to help improve the public perception of homelessness.
Wensley - Very bitter, but conversely, semi-spiritual at times.
Otis - An American guy who bemoans the culture of NFA (no fixed abode) in an especially poignant and moving way.

A mighty cast of over 20 actors worked on this production in 2011 which was staged in Cottiers Theatre Glasgow. Sadly this rough copy from a hand-held camcorder is all that exists of the production, running at just under two and a half hours.
